Beats of Rage is a "beat'em'up" game in the grain of Double Dragon and Streets of Rage and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, as well as being a fully modable engine for such games.


Based on the SEGA classic, Streets Of Rage, you play as one of three young friends who have to take on the evil Mr Y and save their city.


As a games engine, the program be used to play many different games, in the form of complete mods (available from the developer's website).
